A roadshow is never easy. Simply said, it involves a rather large set up with a court build up, a few promotional tools like bunting stands and tables.
Manpower is essential. A lack of it proved abit enduring for the Tuesday that came about. Aamos was first to reach and helped to set out the court with a friend. The barriers were heavy, nonetheless 3 people finished the job and games were soon under way. The camera was conveniently difficult at the time. So apologies for the mishap! Few introduction games were played out before some of the Maestro’s joined with for the festivities. The gruesome physical test was continued with the new upcoming powerhouse Inti Hybrids taking over with their roadshow scheduled to be held at the basketball court area. The challenge of removing and rebuilding the court set up from Metro to Inti was next. And thankfully, thanks to the help from fellow Hybrids and even a Hyenas member, K7 managed to set up court shortly after. More games followed suit with the Hybrids lending their assistance.  Some dodging done by the new joiners The roadshow was further heightened with the inclusion of a few familiar neighbours....  and....  The games brought together a small crowd and invitations to all were open with a few brave ones stepping in to test their mantle against one another. Old foes relived some old memories as well.....lots of fun indeed.  A slight drizzle did not hamper the event with participants taking to the court. Hybrids are a newly formed team with a few old guards from past tournaments. However the future looks immensely promising as they have already etched their mark in the past tournament (Jackpot Madness) finishing an impressive second. We can`t wait to see the full inclusion of the full fledged club come CDL!! Go Hybrids! |
